Jules Pansu: Coq Sur L'Or Cushion Cover

This vibrant cushion depicts a detailed rooster on a gold background.

Woven in cotton on a jacquard loom, it is produced in France in the EPV labelled workshops of the Jules Pansu company. This Jacquard technique allows it to be created in rich relief with exquisite  details. The gradations and shades create a sublimate depiction.

The fabrics Jules Pansu uses are made on looms with jacquard mechanics. This technique makes it possible to weave complex patterns that can include up to 12,000 warp threads each thread being individually ordered, interweaving these with weft and binding threads to achieve an infinity of armor effects, giving all this richness to the cushion covers.
